Story
Born in the heart of Paris, Lunet is a boutique atelier dedicated to creating handmade eyewear that bridges architecture and emotion. Each frame is built with quiet precision — an object of balance, proportion, and light. Viola was invited to redefine the brand’s visual identity, giving form to the tactile poetry behind its craftsmanship.
Challenge
Despite their refined product and artisanal process, Lunet’s previous identity didn’t reflect the same care and clarity that defined their work. It lacked structure, emotion, and the sense of visual harmony that their handmade frames naturally conveyed. The challenge was to build a language that felt architectural yet intimate — something that could express both precision and presence.
Solution
Viola translated Lunet’s philosophy into a minimal identity built around geometry, transparency, and rhythm. The logotype was redrawn to capture the measured curves of a lens, while gradients were introduced to evoke soft light and reflection. Typography and composition followed an architectural grid, allowing space and proportion to guide the viewer’s eye. The result is an identity that feels as crafted as the frames themselves — subtle, precise, and quietly Parisian.
