Rooted in coastal simplicity, Marée is a skincare brand shaped by the rhythm of tides and the purity of marine ingredients. Viola was invited to express this connection to water — calm, fluid, and deeply sensory — through a renewed visual identity.
Challenge
Marée’s original branding failed to capture the serenity and natural refinement at the heart of the brand. The tone was too clinical and detached, overlooking the emotional side of skincare as a daily ritual. The challenge was to create a visual world that felt organic yet deliberate — a reflection of the ocean’s stillness and movement.
Solution
Viola reimagined Marée through a palette of soft neutrals and liquid gradients inspired by shifting light on water. The logotype was drawn with gentle flow and asymmetry, echoing the unpredictability of tides. Photography captured texture and skin in natural light, while packaging adopted generous spacing and tactile finishes. The new identity feels serene and sensual — a visual ritual of care, balance, and quiet renewal.
