Story
Oro Studio is a multidisciplinary interior practice exploring material honesty and timeless form. Viola was asked to distill their ethos into a brand system that balances tactile richness with architectural discipline.
Challenge
Oro’s early identity lacked cohesion and failed to express their sensitivity to light, proportion, and material texture. The brand appeared minimal but cold — missing the human quality embedded in their interiors. The challenge was to design an identity that conveyed quiet strength, material tactility, and refined restraint.
Solution
Viola built the visual language around a muted, mineral palette and serif typography recalling traditional craftsmanship. The grid structure references architectural plans, while printed collateral uses uncoated papers and embossed details to bring warmth through touch. The identity speaks softly yet with confidence — grounded, timeless, and tactile.
